The Arts Afire 2008 show was another tour de force by our artists-members. Over 20
NCAGG artists participated with more than 30 original works. The range of artists and
their means of expression was extraordinary. The
theme of the show was "The Green Side Of Glass" - from the color green, to the
green of nature, to the green of newness. The show was organized by the Arts Afire Gallery
and the jurors were Susan Klauck of Arts Afire; Cindi Lewis, Director of Gallery West in
Old Town Alexandria [ gallery-west.com ]; and Liz Mears, glass artist, teacher, author and
NCAGG member.
