I have been working with glass since 2003. My
inspiration comes from the many countries I have visited around the world, especially
third world countries including Uganda, Morocco, Tanzania, Senegal and many more.
I am particularly drawn to African art, and
especially faces. I love using interesting color combinations and mixing opaque with
transparent glass.
Each of my masks has a unique personality. I
like to think that they tell me what they want to look like and I just bring them to life.
My bowls, platters and plates are not only beautiful (if I must say so), but functional
too.
