I have been involved in art my whole life. I have worked in pencil, oil, stained glass,
fused glass and watercolor.
I first studied fused glass in the early 90s. My fused glass pieces are varied in
technique, style and purpose. Some of my pieces are representational, while others explore
textures, or strive to evoke an emotion through color and form. Several of my pieces are
of galaxies and deep space objects, inspired by my husband's love of astronomy.
My glass art frequently takes an abstract approach in which I strive to attract my
audiences attention with both color and form while bringing in familiar shapes from
the world of nature to arouse the curiosity of my viewers.
My vision is to portray the emotions I
perceive from people, places and creatures I have met.
