I have worked as a glass artist for over thirty years. My background includes course work at the Art Institute of Chicago, Pilchuck Glass school, and on-going classes and workshops in various glass media. I am a research biologist at the National Institutes of Health. And a botanist at the Smithsonian before that. My foreground is I love to do this; light and color are a part of my life and among my most reliable pleasures.
