I first started working in clay in the
60s, began throwing pottery in the mid 70s and started working in stained
glass in the 80s. At Artomatic in 2002 I discovered fused glass and took my first
class in fusing.
Since then I have taken numerous warm and hot glass classes at various locations in the
D.C. area and Corning, NY, and even built a home glass studio to accommodate my obsession.
Although fairly new to the art glass scene, my works have hung in the Smithsonian Arts
& Industries building twice as part of the employees art show as well as at
other juried art exhibits.
