I was trained as a weaver in Denmark in 1970. My work developed into color studies with rayon, lurex, and mylar. A class in fused glass in 1999 made me realize I could explore many of the same design ideas I had developed in fiber in fused glass.

My current work involves the creation of “bubble” glass that is then used to distort striped glass that is mounted behind the bubbles. I have explored this technique in wall pieces, vases, (I won the Silver award in E-merge 2008) and sculpture.
