My love affair with kiln-formed glass started in 1998. I haven’t stopped being captivated by the colors, fluidity, and visual drama of fusible glass ever since.

My life has been shattered many times. As I assemble and melt pieces of cut and broken glass, I heal my life, my heart, and my spirit. The colors and shapes I select express the joy and gratitude I feel to be alive and to be an artist.

The way in which glass alters light and color is a metaphor for the unseen, transformative energy that has led my life for many years, and which my work constantly refers to.

My figurative sculptures are contemplative, using metaphor extensively. My abstract sculptures are often inspired by landscape, and feature vibrant colors and strong designs.
